Ravi Vibhuty, co-founder of Mountstribe started his journey along with his friend from a small village of Uttarakhand when he saw people disappearing in search of employment in other cities.

Their mission of reversing migration to change the lives of villagers of Uttarakhand and transform the aquaculture landscape for the better led to this initiative of an innovative combination of IOT ( internet of things) and cold water aquaponics; with this technology, they can produce 8 times higher yields than regular farming with the least amount of water, in a shorter period of time.

Soon, they are also planning to open cafes all over the country with green walls where you can go harvest your own greens and get your plates cooked by the chef. Sounds interesting right !!

Talking more about Ravi, he has completed his schooling in Dehradun. He left his college twice before completing his graduation and then went for a double master’s. Ravi always dreamed of going to IIT but never made it there. Now he is mentoring the students of IITs and IIMs through his internship programs and living his dream on a different level.
